Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Research Associate-II: PhD in Life Sciences / Biology / Biotechnology / Botany or related fields, with 1 year of postdoctoral experience
  • Junior Research Fellow: Master’s in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Botany / Life Sciences OR B.Tech/BS in related fields with valid CSIR-NET/GATE/DBT-JRF or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of research experience (for RA-II)
  • Proven expertise in recombinant DNA techniques, genome editing, plant transformation, and protein affinity studies
  • Experience in CRISPR-based gene editing in plants

Key Responsibilities

  • CRISPR-mediated editing of key potato genes
  • Generation and maintenance of knock-out transgenic potato lines
  • Molecular characterisation and documentation of edited plant lines
