Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Research Associate-II: PhD in Life Sciences / Biology / Biotechnology / Botany or related fields, with 1 year of postdoctoral experience
- Junior Research Fellow: Master’s in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Botany / Life Sciences OR B.Tech/BS in related fields with valid CSIR-NET/GATE/DBT-JRF or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of research experience (for RA-II)
- Proven expertise in recombinant DNA techniques, genome editing, plant transformation, and protein affinity studies
- Experience in CRISPR-based gene editing in plants
Key Responsibilities
- CRISPR-mediated editing of key potato genes
- Generation and maintenance of knock-out transgenic potato lines
- Molecular characterisation and documentation of edited plant lines
- Collaborative research within the team and presentation of findings
