About the Position

- Research Assistant: ₹37,000 per month (consolidated)

Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Research Assistant: Postgraduate in Linguistics or allied Social Science disciplines (minimum 55% marks) with NET/MPhil/PhD.
Field Investigator: Postgraduate in Linguistics or allied Social Science disciplines (minimum 55% marks). Knowledge of Punjabi/Bengali is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior research experience in linguistics or related fields.
Proficiency in regional languages (Punjabi/Bengali) for Field Investigator.

Key Responsibilities

Research Assistant:
- Contribute to the research project by assisting with data analysis, writing, and literature review.
- Assist in the preparation of academic papers and presentations.
- Work under the supervision of Dr. Somdev Kar, Principal Investigator.
Field Investigator:
- Conduct fieldwork in linguistic data collection.
- Assist with survey design, interviews, and data organisation for analysis.
- Contribute to the overall progress of the research project.
