Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Completed university degree (Diploma or Master’s) in Prehistoric Archaeology
Ongoing or completed doctoral research in the field
Experience with English-language and hybrid teaching
Business-fluent proficiency in at least two of these languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese
Proficiency in geoarchaeological software (QGIS, Magneto, GPRInsights) and technical instruments
Driving license class B or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Several years of experience managing third-party funded projects
Strong background in project application and reporting
Experience with international fieldwork and longer stays abroad

Key Responsibilities

Provide scientific services in research and teaching
Teach 8 semester hours per week in BA Archaeological Sciences and MA Prehistoric Archaeology/Geoarchaeology
Lead the Geoarchaeological Laboratory (GeoALab)
Participate in the MO:VE hybrid teaching program
Engage in faculty Focus Topic I: “Mobility and Networking”
Conduct field research in Central Europe and the Mediterranean, including longer overseas stays
