About Position/Job
The School of Physical Sciences at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata invites applications for one Research Associate-I (RA-I) position in the field of Particle Physics Phenomenology and Astro-particle Physics. The appointment is temporary and full-time, with funding and guidelines as per IACS norms. Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis or are expected to do so within three months may also apply.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- First or high second class M.Sc. in Physics (minimum 55% in B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc.)
- PhD in relevant research area, or thesis submission within 3 months of application deadline
- Proven publication record in peer-reviewed journals in related fields
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong academic profile with research interest in particle phenomenology and astro-particle theory
- Independent thinking, strong theoretical background, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent theoretical research under the guidance of faculty in the School of Physical Sciences
- Publish results in high-quality journals
- Participate in academic seminars and collaborative initiatives
