Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Ph.D. degree in Chemistry specializing in Bioinorganic Chemistry
Expertise in monitoring reaction kinetics including very fast reactions
Knowledge in ROS-mediated oxidative stress mechanisms and redox biochemistry
Proficiency in using oxygen-controlled equipment like glove boxes
Good communication skills
Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. and M.Sc. with NET qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in anaerobic sample preparation
Background in enzymatic oxidation reactions involving O2/H2O2
Skill in trapping reaction intermediates via spectroscopy

Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced research in bioinorganic chemistry
Study the reaction kinetics relevant to disease pathology
Prepare and maintain anaerobic samples using oxygen-controlled equipment
Collaborate with internal research teams
