About the Position
The CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research) invites applications for a Researcher in Paleoclimatology as part of the ANR PaleoTempesto project. This exciting, full-time position focuses on understanding atmospheric isotopic fractionation processes in tropical precipitation and reconstructing paleoclimate databases that track temporal variations in the tropical hydrological cycle. Based at CEREGE in Aix-en-Provence, the role offers a stimulating environment at one of France’s leading Earth science research institutes. The researcher will work within a multidisciplinary framework, collaborating closely with experts in sedimentology, geochemistry, biomarkers, ecology, and climate modelling, contributing to innovative studies that bridge data analysis and modelling for global change research.
