The Heritage Innovations Lab (HILO) at the University of Oxford invites applications for a Researcher role focused on advancing heritage conservation through innovative digital twinning and data-driven strategies. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong background in heritage science, environmental science, or related disciplines

- Ability to lead research and collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mentoring junior researchers
- Skills in digital twinning or related computational methods
- Track record of academic publications and stakeholder engagement
Key Responsibilities
- Lead research design and implementation for the HILO project
- Analyse data to predict and model material deterioration in historic buildings
- Support publication efforts and engage with project partners such as Blenheim Palace
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge exchange
