The IFK Senior Fellowship provides accomplished researchers with the opportunity to pursue independent research in the vibrant academic setting of the International Research Center for Cultural Studies (IFK) in Vienna. Designed for full professors and leading scholars, the fellowship fosters collaboration with other IFK Fellows and Austrian institutions. It encourages interdisciplinary and cutting-edge research that contributes to Austria’s global academic reputation in the humanities and social sciences.

- Evidence of scholarly leadership
- Past contributions to interdisciplinary or cultural theory discourse
Not Eligible:
- Applicants concurrently applying for the IFK Research Fellowship
Fellowship/Job Benefits
- Monthly stipend or salary: €2,387 per month (€77/day)
- Travel allowance: One-time arrival/departure support for non-residents
- Rent allowance: Available for those relocating to Vienna
- Workspace: iMac-equipped workstation with full internet access
