Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in humanities or social sciences awarded between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2025
- Research specialization in premodern South Asia
- Proficiency in one or more South Asian languages
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated teaching experience
- Strong academic writing and publication record
- Ability to engage with departmental and scholarly communities
Key Responsibilities
- Teach up to one course per semester
- Present research within the department
- Actively participate in departmental activities and academic discussions
- Mentor and collaborate with graduate students
