Aarhus University invites applications for a Student Assistant position in archaeology (part-time, 7 hours/week) at the Department of History and Classical Studies, affiliated with Professor Rubina Raja’s research projects: Locally Crafted Empires (LoCiS), Lost Cities Rediscovered (LoCi), and A Digital Archive Platform for Research on the Danish Inter-World War Archaeological Engagement in the Middle East. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Enrolled in a relevant degree (Archaeology, History, or related field)

- Reliability and practical sense
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in similar research or student assistant roles
- Familiarity with archival work, transcription, literature searches, or digital database tools
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature searches and transcription for research projects
- Organise and document archival and database materials
- Assist in preparing presentations and web content
- Support administrative tasks, including conference organisation
- Collaborate with Professor Rubina Raja and research team on ongoing projects
