Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD with mid-career or senior-level research experience
  • Non-academic experts (artists, writers, activists, musicians, etc.) are also eligible

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous research collaboration experience
  • Strong interdisciplinary or creative research proposals
  • Two or more UWA hosts from different disciplines

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct collaborative interdisciplinary research with UWA faculty
  • Organise or contribute to public lectures, workshops, or academic symposia
  • Develop publications, grant proposals, or creative outputs
  • Provide mentorship to UWA’s early and mid-career researchers
  • Submit a final report and acknowledge IAS-UWA in any resulting publications
