The Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) at The University of Western Australia (UWA) invites applications for its 2025 Visiting Fellowships. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD with mid-career or senior-level research experience
- Non-academic experts (artists, writers, activists, musicians, etc.) are also eligible
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous research collaboration experience
- Strong interdisciplinary or creative research proposals
- Two or more UWA hosts from different disciplines
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct collaborative interdisciplinary research with UWA faculty
- Organise or contribute to public lectures, workshops, or academic symposia
- Develop publications, grant proposals, or creative outputs
- Provide mentorship to UWA’s early and mid-career researchers
- Submit a final report and acknowledge IAS-UWA in any resulting publications
