About the Fellowship
The Visiting Fellowship Program at the Institute of Contemporary History (INZ) in Ljubljana offers researchers the opportunity to engage in short-term collaborative research in contemporary political, economic, social history and digital humanities. Aimed at fostering long-term partnerships and cross-institutional cooperation across Europe and beyond, this programme supports academic mobility and encourages joint projects and publications, while enriching the Institute’s vibrant scholarly community.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Enrolment in or completion of a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline
- Research focus relevant to INZ’s thematic priorities
- Scholars from any country are eligible to apply
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in collaborative research projects or joint publication
- Potential applicants for future MSCA (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) fellowships
- Early-career scholars are encouraged
Not Eligible:
- Applicants seeking long-term fully funded fellowships; this is a short-term programme with limited funding

Key Responsibilities
