Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Current employment as a full professor at a higher education institution outside Sweden
Internationally recognised research excellence
Proven academic leadership and ability to develop research environments
Proficiency in oral and written English
Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Research agenda addressing critical challenges in your field
Interest in contributing to Lund Humanities Village or other faculty development initiatives
Experience with interdisciplinary research and academic innovation
Connection to ongoing international collaborations or HT faculty members

Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-level independent or collaborative research
Optionally engage in mentoring or collaborative teaching
Participate in the intellectual life of the faculties and wider university
Contribute to faculty initiatives such as Lund University Press or innovation projects
Support knowledge exchange across disciplines and research communities
