About Position/Job
Tel Aviv University (TAU) invites applications for its prestigious Visiting Professor Initiative 2025–2026, aimed at promoting international academic exchange and enhancing global classroom experiences. As part of this initiative, international scholars will have the opportunity to teach an intensive academic course on-site, contributing significantly to TAU’s global education strategy. The course should be equivalent to 2 academic credits or a graduate-level research seminar, delivered within a 2 to 4-week residency.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A doctoral degree in a relevant field
- Must not have taught at TAU in the past 3 years
- Ability to teach a for-credit course (minimum 2 credits)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven successful courses offered previously under this initiative
- Courses that received strong evaluations or reached a large student body
- Teaching that complements existing academic offerings
Key Responsibilities
- Design and teach a concentrated in-person academic course
- Remain on the Tel Aviv University campus for 2–4 weeks
- Foster academic collaboration and student engagement
- Ensure high instructional quality and academic rigor
- Coordinate with the host department and Lowy International School
