About the Position

The Zukunftskolleg at the University of Konstanz invites early career researchers to apply for its Short-Term Research Visits 2026 (Visiting Research Fellowship). Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Doctoral degree awarded within the last six years
Affiliation with an Institute for Advanced Study within the UBIAS or NetIAS network (outside Germany)
Proposed collaborative research project relevant to University of Konstanz

Preferred Qualifications:

Existing or proposed collaboration with a Zukunftskolleg fellow or university researcher
Experience working in an interdisciplinary environment
Strong academic publication record

Key Responsibilities

Conduct collaborative research at University of Konstanz
Actively participate in Zukunftskolleg events and weekly Jour fixe meetings
Present research to the interdisciplinary academic community
Reside in or near Konstanz for the entire visit duration
Submit a short report post-visit and acknowledge Zukunftskolleg support in publications
