Minimum Requirements:
- Doctorate and Habilitation or equivalent scholarly achievement

- Strong publication record and interdisciplinary teaching experience
- Experience with archaeological project conception and management
- Ability to secure third-party funding
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cooperative research with museums and other academic institutions
- Commitment to developing new degree programs in archaeology and classical studies
- Proven track record of international collaborations
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research in archaeology and ancient Mediterranean studies
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in archaeology and related fields
- Develop and expand interdisciplinary degree programs (B.A. and M.A.)
- Lead archaeological research projects and acquire funding
- Collaborate actively with university departments, museums, and external partners
- Participate in university administration and academic self-governance
