Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in cooperative research with museums and other academic institutions
Commitment to developing new degree programs in archaeology and classical studies
Proven track record of international collaborations

Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research in archaeology and ancient Mediterranean studies
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in archaeology and related fields
Develop and expand interdisciplinary degree programs (B.A. and M.A.)
Lead archaeological research projects and acquire funding
Collaborate actively with university departments, museums, and external partners
Participate in university administration and academic self-governance
