About the Fellowship
The Annual Research Fellowship Program 2026–2027 at Yad Vashem – The World Holocaust Remembrance Centre offers a unique opportunity for scholars to conduct advanced research on the Holocaust, its antecedents, and aftermath. Designed for postdoctoral and early-career researchers, this fully funded fellowship allows access to Yad Vashem’s unparalleled archives, including over 210 million pages of documentation, 500,000 photographs, and 131,000 survivor testimonies. Fellows can pursue interdisciplinary research across history, sociology, anthropology, law, theology, art, and music studies, contributing to both national and global Holocaust scholarship. The fellowship encourages collaboration with Yad Vashem experts and other research institutions across Israel, promoting archival, methodological, and scholarly excellence while enabling flexible research formats, including remote archival work.
