IISER Mohali invites applications for the position of Project Assistant under an ANRF-funded neuroscience research project titled “Decoding and targeting cortical circuitry for nicotine dependency.” This hands-on opportunity will involve working with laboratory mice, neural circuit mapping, and behavioural neuroscience, making it ideal for early-career researchers passionate about addiction biology and neural mechanisms.

  • Support surgeries, drug administration, and data documentation
  • Manage reagents, supplies, and maintenance of animal stocks
  • Contribute to research publications and lab audits
  • Collaborate with research team members and maintain project documentation
