About Position/Job
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati invites applications for a walk-in interview to fill a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate-I position under an extramural-funded project on developing antiviral platforms against henipaviruses (Nipah and Hendra). This is a short-term, contract-based opportunity to work under the mentorship of Prof. Guruprasad R. Medigeshi, in a highly reputed national institute, contributing to impactful biomedical research.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Four-year Bachelor’s in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc / B.Pharm / Biomedical Engineering / Medicine OR
- Master’s in Natural or Agricultural Sciences
- Age limit: Not more than 35 years on date of interview
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mammalian cell culture
- Viral assays, protein expression, purification
- Molecular biology techniques
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct antiviral research targeting henipaviruses
- Perform virology and molecular biology experiments
- Maintain cell culture systems
- Assist in lab maintenance and project documentation
