The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Thiruvananthapuram invites applications from highly motivated candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an externally funded project titled “Algorithmic Study on Graph Modification Problems”. The project, funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced research in graph theory and algorithm design within a dynamic academic environment.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- MSc/BS-MS/M.Tech/ME/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines with CPI ≥ 6.5 (or first-class equivalent)
- Valid GATE (within last 5 years) / CSIR-UGC NET / UGC NET (Cat I/II/III)
- OR B.Tech/BE in Computer Science with CPI ≥ 6.5 and valid GATE
- GATE score exemption: B.Tech from IITs/IISERs/IISc with CPI ≥ 8.0
Preferred Qualifications:
- Research or project experience in Graph Theory or Algorithm Design
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on graph modification problems
- Contribute to algorithmic development and performance evaluation
- Support publication and documentation of project outcomes
