About the Fellowship
The UIBK – FemCareer Fellowship is a prestigious three-year programme designed to support early-career female postdoctoral researchers across all disciplines represented at the University of Innsbruck (UIBK), Austria. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to develop an independent research profile, establish new scholarly collaborations, and prepare competitive applications for third-party research funding. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A completed doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent)
- Female-identifying early-career researcher
- Proposed collaboration with a UIBK host researcher
- High-quality, original research proposal with relevance to UIBK’s expertise
- No current or previous employment relationship with UIBK as a postdoc
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong publication record relevant to academic age
- Experience in international research environments
- Potential to attract third-party research funding
- Interdisciplinary or cross-institutional collaboration background
Not Eligible:
- Male applicants
- Applicants who are already postdocs at UIBK
