About the Program
Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, Faculty of Humanities, is inviting applications for a PhD-level Assistant in the area of Humanities, field of History, branch of Ancient History. This is a full-time, temporary position to cover for an employee currently on long-term sick leave. The role offers early-career researchers the opportunity to engage in teaching, research, and scholarly activities within a dynamic academic environment in Pula, Croatia. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in History and demonstrate excellent proficiency in Croatian. The position is significant for fostering advanced historical research and academic training in Ancient History, aligning with the Faculty’s mission to strengthen humanistic studies and contribute to cultural and scholarly discourse in the region.
