About the Position
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, invites applications for an Assistant position in Humanities, field Archaeology under the Young Researchers’ Career Development Project – Training New Doctoral Students (code DOK-2025-02). This opportunity is connected with the Croatian Science Foundation’s IP project TiHiTransForm (IP-2022-10-6994), led by Prof. Domagoj Tončinić at the Department of Archaeology. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Archaeology
- Admission eligibility for the Doctoral Programme in Archaeology

Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic excellence demonstrated by awards or recognition
- Published research, conference presentations, or prior research participation
- Experience in independent fieldwork
- Experience in non-destructive archaeological methods
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the IP project TiHiTransForm (IP-2022-10-6994) under Prof. Domagoj Tončinić
- Conduct archaeological research, both fieldwork and non-destructive methods
- Support teaching and academic activities in the Department of Archaeology
- Pursue doctoral training in Archaeology at the University of Zagreb
