Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent international degree (or enrolment in such a programme at the time of application).

- Research expertise in Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, Malay World, or Islam.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more Southeast Asian languages for high-level research.
- Evidence of academic, professional, or public service promoting participation in Southeast Asian studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research in modern Southeast Asian humanities.
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Supervise and mentor PhD and MA students.
- Contribute to departmental service and university initiatives.
