About Position/Job
The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Aerospace Engineering for an exciting project on the Development of Electronic Engine Regulator (EER) for Liquid Ramjet Engines. This position, funded for one year, offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace engineering research, focusing on designing and evaluating controllers for liquid ramjet engines. The role involves developing computational models, performing CFD simulations, and analysing engine performance under the supervision of the project principal investigator. Based in Mumbai, India, the position provides an interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment, allowing the fellow to gain advanced experience in air-breathing propulsion systems, data analysis, and technical reporting. This project has high academic significance and potential applications in next-generation aerospace technology.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Fresh PhD graduates or PhD holders with less than two years of experience
- Research scholars who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting examination
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or MATLAB programming
- Knowledge of ramjet or air-breathing propulsion systems
- Experience with CFD tools such as ANSYS-FLUENT, OpenFOAM, or SU2
Key Responsibilities
- Develop computer programs for performance analysis of liquid ramjet engines
- Conduct CFD simulations on engine components
- Analyse data and prepare technical reports
- Contribute to the successful completion of the time-bound project
