Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Archaeology starting July 2026. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Archaeology or a closely related field at the time of application
- Demonstrated expertise in material science and archaeological technologies
- Ability to teach courses in archaeological science, research design, and materials analysis
- Experience in mentoring undergraduate students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Innovative teaching experience with diverse learners
- Focus on Indigenous or marginalised knowledges
- Ability to develop local or campus-based research opportunities in New England
- Strong publication record and active research programme
Key Responsibilities
- Teach two courses per semester at Wesleyan’s campus
