Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifications

Assistant Professor (Grade II)

Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree
Strong academic record and demonstrated potential

Assistant Professor (Grade I)

Ph.D. with first class or equivalent
At least 3 years post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research/industry

Associate Professor

Ph.D. with first class or equivalent
Minimum 6 years post-Ph.D. experience, including 3 years as Assistant Professor
Evidence of research excellence, student mentorship, and academic leadership

Professor

Ph.D. with first class or equivalent
Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. experience with at least 4 years as Associate Professor
Proven record of teaching, research leadership, and doctoral supervision

Preferred Qualifications

Strong publication record in reputed peer-reviewed journals
Experience securing and leading externally funded research projects
Interdisciplinary and collaborative research exposure
International academic experience is an asset

Key Responsibilities

Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
Supervise research students (Master’s and Ph.D.)
Conduct independent and collaborative research
Publish in high-impact journals and participate in conferences
Contribute to academic administration and curriculum development
