Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD (or equivalent) in Classics or Ancient History
- Demonstrated expertise in Roman archaeology and material culture
- Ability to design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
- Excellent communication and student engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching at both UG and PG levels
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices
- Willingness to work towards Fellowship of the HEA
- Record of outreach or engagement activities
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver teaching across UG and MA modules
- Engage students using varied teaching methods
- Contribute to departmental goals and inclusive education initiatives
- Support module coordination and assessment
- Participate in student recruitment and outreach
