Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD (or near completion) in International Relations, Human Geography, Political Ecology, Law of the Sea, Social Anthropology, History, Philosophy, or related fields
  • Expertise in mixed-methods research
  • Excellent research communication and management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multilevel environmental governance or regional knowledge of the Amazon or Gulf of Guinea
  • Knowledge of Global South perspectives on sovereignty

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct original research and publish in top journals
  • Collect and analyse data related to the Amazon and Gulf of Guinea
  • Engage with academic partners and manage project communications
  • Set up and manage the project’s webpage and social media
  • Support project events and contribute to the School’s academic community
