About the Position

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Doctorate in Humanities or Social Sciences
- Proficiency in both French and English
- Experience in academic research
Preferred Qualifications:
- Research background in Africa
- Familiarity with material culture and heritage studies
- Experience with digital humanities tools and database coordination
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct original research on scientific archives related to IFAN in France and West Africa
- Locate, analyse, and study historical corpora and their legacy
- Publish at least two peer-reviewed research articles
- Present findings at a minimum of three academic events
- Contribute to the maintenance and coordination of a digital database
- Support the organisation of an international conference
- Promote the ANR ArchIFAN project through academic outreach
