Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in History or a related field (completed by start date)
- Dissertation project in Medieval European History (High Middle Ages)
- Proficiency in Latin and English
- Commitment to acquire German within 2 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medieval European political, social, and economic history
- International academic exposure and teamwork experience
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary theories and research methods
- Experience in teaching or academic administration
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct doctoral research and complete a thesis project
- Publish in international journals and participate in conferences
- Assist in organising workshops, symposia, and conferences
- Teach and supervise students in Medieval History
- Contribute to research administration and third-party funding applications
