Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BS-MS/M.Sc./M.Tech in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Climate Science, Geophysics, Oceanography, Hydrometeorology, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related fields in Environmental Science
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior research experience with WRF modeling
- Familiarity with climate model data
- Programming proficiency in FORTRAN, NCL, Python, R, and shell scripting
Key Responsibilities
- Support simulations using the WRF model
- Conduct data assimilation and analysis of model outputs
- Manage datasets from climate models and observational sources
- Collaborate with the research team to meet project milestones
- Prepare documentation and assist in reporting
