Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS-MS/M.Sc./M.Tech in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Climate Science, Geophysics, Oceanography, Hydrometeorology, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related fields in Environmental Science
  • Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior research experience with WRF modeling
  • Familiarity with climate model data
  • Programming proficiency in FORTRAN, NCL, Python, R, and shell scripting

Key Responsibilities

  • Support simulations using the WRF model
  • Conduct data assimilation and analysis of model outputs
  • Manage datasets from climate models and observational sources
  • Collaborate with the research team to meet project milestones
  • Prepare documentation and assist in reporting
