Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. awarded after January 1, 2024
  • For applicants who have not yet completed their Ph.D., substantial progress (at least half) in dissertation research is required at the time of application
  • Applicants must fulfill all requirements for the Ph.D., including dissertation filing, by June 15, 2026
  • Applicants must apply by the specified deadline and may only apply once to the Princeton Society of Fellows
  • Applicants from Education, Jurisprudence, or those holding a Ph.D. from Princeton University are not eligible
