The University of Antwerp is seeking two full-time visiting scholars for a short-term research stay in 2025/2026. Hosted at the Urban Studies Institute (USI), the selected scholars will conduct interdisciplinary research, participate in seminars, and engage in dynamic academic collaborations. Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • A current paid position in a research institution at the time of the visit (postdoc, professor, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in joint project applications (e.g., Marie Curie)
  • Interest in collaborative publications with USI members
  • Ability to engage in interdisciplinary dialogues

  • Conduct independent urban studies research
  • Participate in USI research seminars and guest lectures
