Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PhD in Archaeology or closely related discipline
Professional research experience in archaeological science, including biomolecular archaeology, bio-geochemistry, or geoarchaeology
Proven record of delivering teaching at undergraduate/postgraduate levels
Evidence of published research in peer-reviewed journals
Experience in obtaining peer-reviewed research funding

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in supervising postgraduate research students
Ability to develop teaching modules and enhance the curriculum

Key Responsibilities

Conduct innovative research aligned with department and university strategies
Deliver high-quality teaching and develop course content for undergraduate and postgraduate students
Supervise and mentor postgraduate research students
Contribute to interdisciplinary projects and improve student employability
Lead applications to external funding bodies for research grants
