Research Area
- Radio solar physics using MWA, uGMRT, MeerKAT, LOFAR
- Solar bursts (Type I, II, III), CME emissions, gyrosynchrotron modeling
- Magnetized coronal plasma propagation effects
- Quiet Sun nonthermal emissions and coronal heating
- Space weather and heliospheric Faraday rotation
- HPC/Cloud computing, AI/ML in solar radio imaging
Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in solar physics, astrophysics, or a closely related field
- Experience in multi-wavelength solar data analysis
- Familiarity with radio interferometry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Skills in AI/ML, HPC, or advanced image processing
- Background in coordinated observations with solar space missions
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to ongoing group research on solar radio science
- Pursue independent projects aligned with group interests
- Develop analysis tools and algorithms
- Collaborate in international, multi-observatory projects
- Assist with outreach and mentoring, as applicable
