    • RA-I: PhD
    • JRF: Master’s

Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • RA-I: PhD in Life Sciences / Genetics / Botany / Plant Pathology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology
  • JRF: Master’s degree in Biological/Life Sciences with at least 60% marks and CSIR/UGC NET qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on research experience in genome editing of plants
  • Experience with transgenic plant development
  • Familiarity with plant-virus interaction models
  • At least two publications in peer-reviewed SCI/SCOPUS journals (RA-I)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct plant genome editing experiments using CRISPR/Cas9
  • Generate and maintain transgenic lines
  • Analyze molecular and phenotypic data related to disease resistance
  • Collaborate with team members and assist in manuscript preparation
  • Maintain lab records and participate in group meetings
