Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed master’s or diploma degree in Art History with a focus on Early Modern Art
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Strong communication and writing abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional proficiency in Italian
- Experience in teaching
- Didactic and organisational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in research and teaching activities under the Chair of Early Modern Art History
- Collaborate with the Vienna Center for the History of Collecting
- Participate in departmental administration
- Teach independently (2 hours per week per semester)
- Prepare and develop a PhD dissertation focused on 16th–18th century Italian Art
- Complete a dissertation agreement within 12–18 months
