Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PhD submitted after 1 October 2024, or on track to be submitted by 1 October 2026
Applicants must be early-career scholars (typically finishing or recently completed PhD)
Open to graduates of any university, UK or international

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong academic record
Research achievements or potential in the stated disciplines
Experience presenting or publishing research

Not Eligible:

Current holders of a Fellowship at a Cambridge College
Candidates who accept a Fellowship at another Cambridge College during the process

Fellowship/Job Benefits

Monthly stipend or salary: £33,482 starting salary with annual increments
Housing allowance: Up to £35,760 across four years (for those living outside College)
Research support: Up to £10,000 for academic materials, travel, equipment, and organising conferences
Accommodation: Option to live in single College accommodation (charges apply)
Dining privileges: One free meal per day in College
Office space and resources: Provided to those residing outside College
Teaching opportunities: Paid separately for up to six hours per week
