About the Fellowship
The Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST) is offering a postdoctoral Research Fellowship designed for early-career researchers eager to pursue full-time, high-impact research in the social and behavioral sciences. This fellowship provides a two-year contract, office space, computing facilities, and access to a vibrant interdisciplinary community. Fellows are encouraged to engage in collaborative research spanning multiple disciplines, including anthropology, economics, evolutionary biology, history, mathematics, philosophy, political science, psychology, and sociology. The programme prioritises projects that advance understanding of human behaviour, organisation, and social dynamics while complementing the work of existing IAST research teams. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD completed or expected between December 2022 and September 2026
- Strong research background in the primary discipline
- Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary research at IAST
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in complementary disciplines
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals or working papers
- Experience with international research collaboration
Not Eligible:
- Tenure-track or tenured researchers at their current institution

Key Responsibilities
