About the Program
ETH Zürich invites applications for fully-funded Doctoral Fellowships /PhD in Architecture and Technology (A&T), offering an exceptional opportunity for international researchers to join a vibrant community of over 50 doctoral students. The programme supports two full-time 3.5-year fellowships starting 1 October 2026, providing a unique interdisciplinary environment that combines architecture, engineering, and technology. Fellows will work under one of the ITA professorships, including Architecture and Digital Fabrication, Architecture and Structures, Structural Design, Digital Building Technologies, Architecture and Building Systems, Architecture and Building Process, and Construction Heritage and Preservation. The programme emphasises computational design, digital and robotic construction, building systems, and interdisciplinary research, preparing graduates for academic and industry leadership positions worldwide. - Strong academic record and technical skills
- Knowledge of computational design tools, digital fabrication methods, and architectural software
