About the Position

Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PhD in History or a closely related discipline
Teaching experience at university level

Preferred Qualifications:

Expertise in South, Southeast, or East Asian history
Experience supervising undergraduate or postgraduate dissertations
Demonstrated ability to contribute to collaborative teaching and research initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the Level 2 survey module “History from the Margins: Race, Class, and Identity in Modern Global History (HIS21360)”
Supervise BA and MA dissertations
Participate in School administration and academic development
Support inclusive and globally oriented history teaching
