About the Position
The University of Glasgow invites applications for a Research Associate Position in Technology and Culture to join the Centre for Regulation of the Creative Economy (CREATe) under the AHRC Infrastructure Award. Working with Professor Timothy Barker and Professor Philip Schlesinger, this role focuses on the intersection of technology, culture, and regulation within the creative industries. The successful candidate will explore the social and cultural impacts of emerging technologies and their implications for cultural preservation and regulatory frameworks. This is a full-time, 18-month position offering an opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary research that bridges the Arts, Humanities, and Technology Studies.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

- Familiarity with regulatory issues in the creative economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and publish interdisciplinary research in technology and culture.
