Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Internationally recognised research and teaching experience
- University-level teaching experience and didactics
- Experience in archaeological fieldwork and personnel management
- Ability to teach and supervise in German (or acquire proficiency within two years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Habilitation or equivalent for full/associate professor
- Well-advanced postdoctoral project for assistant professorship with tenure track
- Experience in acquiring project funding and participating in academic committees
- Collaboration with national agencies, cantonal archaeology departments, and research centres
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct world-class research in Roman provincial archaeology
- Teach and supervise students at all levels
- Manage fieldwork and research projects
