About the Position
INRAE, France’s leading research institute in agriculture and environmental science, is offering a Postdoctoral Position: Implementing IRMS and Laser Spectroscopy Systems to Measure Soil and Plant Fluxes of COS, CO₂, and Their Isotopologues. Based in Bordeaux, this ERC-funded project focuses on understanding carbon cycling by investigating how rising CO₂ levels and mycorrhizal partnerships influence soil–plant–atmosphere interactions. The successful candidate will join the ECODIV–AgroEcoSystems department under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Wingate, contributing to innovative research using Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) and laser spectroscopy. This interdisciplinary role bridges biogeochemistry, functional ecology, and atmospheric science, offering international collaboration and access to state-of-the-art analytical facilities.
