About Position/Job
The CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratoire d’Etudes en Géophysique et Océanographie Spatiales (LEGOS) in Toulouse, France. The position is part of the FLUOREAL project, focused on understanding the ecological and biogeochemical dynamics of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in large tropical rivers such as the Red and Amazon Rivers and their coastal environments. Starting February 2026, the postdoctoral researcher will collaborate with international partners in Brazil, Vietnam, and Europe, developing innovative analytical tools, modeling PFAS transport, and assessing bioaccumulation in aquatic species. This role offers a unique interdisciplinary experience across chemistry, ecology, and environmental modeling, providing opportunities for scientific publications, workshops, and international collaborations under the supervision of Dr. V. Fauvelle.
