About the Fellowship
The Koch History Centre Fellowship at the University of Oxford is a prestigious one-year, fully supported research position designed to advance world-class historical scholarship. Based jointly at Wadham College and the Faculty of History, this fellowship promotes innovative, curiosity-driven research across global historical periods and cultures. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A completed PhD/DPhil in a relevant discipline
- Within 10 years of PhD award at the time of application
- Postdoctoral, early-career tenure track, or recently tenured academic
- Strong research profile with publications
- Ability to independently plan and manage research projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- International research experience
- Strong publication record
- Evidence of interdisciplinary work
- Experience collaborating on academic projects
Not Eligible:
- Applicants more than 10 years post-PhD (should apply to Senior Fellowships)
- Ineligible applicants will not be automatically transferred to senior competition
