Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant academic subject
  • Strong academic record, ideally in Latin, preferably combined with Greek
  • Ability and willingness to teach in German
  • Interest in ancient or late antique Roman poetry
  • For predoctoral applicants: a scholarship or willingness to apply for one

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant doctorate for postdoctoral qualification
  • Experience in teaching or supervising students
  • Research experience in Classical Philology

Key Responsibilities
