About Position/Job

Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in language sciences, linguistics, archaeology, or relevant discipline
  • Ability to propose a research programme aligned with CNRS Section n°34 priorities
  • Basic proficiency in French

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in interdisciplinary research combining linguistics, history, and archaeology
  • Previous fieldwork or archival research experience
  • Strong record of academic publications and international collaboration

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an original research programme in the designated theme
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences
  • Collaborate with CNRS researchers and international partners
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to departmental activities
