About Position/Job

The Universidad de Huelva invites applications for an Archaeology Graduate to join the research project “The Roman City of Arucci”, under the supervision of Mr. Javier Bermejo Meléndez. Based in Huelva, Spain, this temporary full-time position offers hands-on experience in archaeological interventions, material analysis, GIS mapping, geophysical surveys, and non-invasive remote sensing methods. The role provides an excellent opportunity for early-career archaeologists to support documentation, digitisation, and georeferencing of archaeological data while contributing to a high-profile research project. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, good English proficiency, and practical field experience are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with a Master’s in Historical and Cultural Heritage or experience in leadership roles in archaeological fieldwork.
